Opening remarks[]
One of the problems of Mr Murray's promotion is that, as the Captain of Troutbridge, he has by tradition to be invited in to the wardroom by the other officers. He can't use it without their invitation. The problem isn't one that concerns him it concerns the other officers, once they invite him in, they can never get him out again. He likes it there. This morning he's being a perfect pest to the Padre and Lieutenant Sharp, the engineering officer, who've made the mistake of being trapped in the wardroom with him.
