Opening remarks[edit | edit source]
There are certain things every man's entitled to in life, for they're his heritage. Things like a flaming great rocket from his employer, or lumbago from gardening too long, or a chance to pay for fifty quids worth of wet weather and call it a holiday. Servicemen are to entitled to leave as well of course, always provided they haven't upset the chaps in the records office in the personnel section of their unit.
