Lt. Parfitt is the NAS Portland Air Sea Rescue pilot assigned to take Mr Murray, Sub Lt. Phillips and CPO Pertwee for a short flight during a major fleet exercise.
When questioned, Parfitt admits he isn't regarded as the best pilot in the squadron.[1]
